A cry for help

 There are normally over 150 abandoned dogs in the Sara animal shelter in Tahiche. The shelter will be found just before the Tahiche Garden Centre and a little way past the César Manrique Foundation. The half a dozen staff are responsible for the welfare of around 400 animals so the dog walking is carried out by a handful of volunteers. If you love dogs, and would like to walk some, the shelter is open to the public from 10.30-13.00 Monday-Saturday plus 17.00-19.00 Tuesdays. Why not go with a friend or two - that way a kennelful can be walked together without having to leave one behind. IF this will be your first time of walking, please take some ID with you. Thank you
