Carnival 3 days away

So, the 2019 Carnival in Lanzarote has already started in some areas of the island but the main Carnival in Puerto del Carmen takes place on Saturday 9th March. Starting at 5pm from the San Antonio end of the Avenida and the procession proceeds in to the old town where the fiesta/party will carry on until the early hours of Sunday morning. The shops are still very busy with excited people choosing their costumes for Satursday. It’s an event not to be missed,especially for holiday makers!
