The Three Kings
Celebrating the Birth of Jesus With Gifts. Three Kings Day. Dia De Los Reyes in Spanish, falls on January 6 every year. ‘The epithany’. It’s the day the children of Spain and Hispanic countries receive presents for Christmastime.
Some Spanish people do also receive gifts from Santa Claus on the 25th of December but they mainly celebrate The 3 Kings. The 3 Kings parade the towns on Lanzarote on Camels on the 5th of January, throwing sweets into the streets for all the children. It’s a very busy event as all the family’s are out there in the streets to watch the procession. It’s a fabulous event and everyone is in high spirit.
