Lanzarote Air Show
The Lanzarote Air display took place on Sunday 28th October over Las Cucharas beach in Costa Teguise. The display was performed by Spain´s famous Eagle Patrol ´Patrulla Aguila´ and the event was part of the 600 years of Teguise Celebrations. What a spectacular display it was too!
There hadn´t been much publicity for this event but the amount of spectators that were there was unbelievable. There were thousands. I don´t think that I have ever seen so many people in Costa Teguise! I don´t think that I have ever seen such a tail back of cars before on the circunvalacion to get to an event either.
Where the witches hat is, above the Las Cucharas Surf school, it was so full of people and so was the beach front and along the bay. I had planned to visit one of our property owners in Las Cucharas on Sunday as I had intended to go and see the air show. I was rather fortunate to be invited to watch the display from their upstairs terrace along with other friends. It was an amazing atmosphere and from here, I could see many other people watching the air display from their roof tops. The display certainly had the WOW Factor!
